Description

Ishmael: "I loved the smell of the sea. I loved the sound of it rushing overhead and the hot blast of its gusts on my skin. I loved the rich smell of life and death it carried out of the sky. I loved the distant warbling echo of the leviathan rast. They sounded different up close of course; but as their voices traveled through the shimmering heat they changed, becoming both symphonic and unstructured at once.

My father told me some years back that a man must always travel the sea at least once in their life. He said this while we stood on the surface of the loch, looking up at the vast sea of flame raging above. He said this even though it had cost him a hand."

General

Azers speak Ignan and Common.

Combat

Azers use broad-headed spears or well-crafted hammers in combat. When unarmed, they attempt to grapple foes. They wear no armor, for their tough skin provides ample protection.

Special Abilities

Heat (Ex): Azers' bodies are intensely hot, so their unarmed attacks deal additional fire damage. Their metallic weapons also conduct this heat.
